Spritz For Beauty

As we go about our day, our skin is exposed to outside pollutants, wind, sun and a barrage of products that can dry out our skin. As a result, moisture is lost, and with it our skins' collagen and ellastin. Hydration is key to maintaining glowing, youthful skin. Obviously drinking water helps hydrates us, but our skin also appreciates external hydration. Try spritzing your face with a calming hydrosol, such as rose or lavender. Spritz before you moisturize, after you apply makeup, and all throughout the day as you remember.

Make A Homemade Lactic Acid Face Mask

Making a moisturizing lactic acid face mask at home is easy. Your main ingredient is actually low-fat plain yogurt. Yogurt contains exfoliating lactic acid, which are enzymes that eat away at dead skin cells. Yogurt also contains probiotics, or beneficial bacteria, which helps in acne prevention.
Here's a few other ingredients you can add to your face mask:
Honey ~ Antibacterial. Contains Vitamin B & Zinc. Moisturizing
Green Papaya Powder ~ Contains the AHA Enzyme Papain, which exfoliates
Avocado ~ Beneficial Moisturizing Oils & Fatty Acids

Exfoliate For Acne Prevention!

One of the biggest reason for those little white bumps with no head (milia) is too many layers of dead skin cells. Plus one of the only ways to get the sebum out from those tuff milia is too first remove some layers of dead skin cells.

I always suggest using enzymes, or alphahydroxy acids (AHA)to lightly "eat" away at the dead skin cells. Especially if you currently have an acne outbreak. AHA's are enzymes that come from fruits and plants. I prefer using AHA's over "mechanical" exfoliants, like grains, seeds, sugar, etc., because the mechanical exfoliants can damage your skin since they are so abrasive. On the other hand, AHA's enzymes gently dissolve the dead layers of skin, revealing fresh new skin underneath!

Make sure to stay moisturized whenever you exfoliate! Your skin needs the extra oil to balance out. You also need to use a toner to rebalance your skin PH balance. Make sure to spritz your face with a hydrosol (such as rose water) all day long. Hydrating the skin also prevents acne and keeps your skin looking youthful.

Getting a professional facial is also a must to extract the current blackheads and pustules. Do NOT try to do this yourself! This is the reason you see acne scars on so many people! And also, make sure to drink lots of water as well!
